These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the website, online store, products, content, features, and customer services operated by Teknion LLC.

Throughout these Terms, “Teknion LLC,” “we,” “our,” and “us” refer to Teknion LLC. “You” and “your” refer to any visitor, customer, or person using our website or purchasing from our store.

By accessing the website, creating an account, or placing an order, you agree to these Terms and all policies incorporated by reference, including our Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy, Payment Methods, and Returns & Refunds Policy.

If you do not accept these Terms, please discontinue use of the website.

1. Eligibility to Use the Store

You must have reached the legal age required to enter into a binding agreement in your place of residence.

If a minor uses the website through a device or account that you own or control, you accept responsibility for that use and for any resulting activity.

You may use our store only for legitimate purposes and in accordance with applicable laws.

2. Store Operator and Shopify Platform

This store is operated by Teknion LLC and uses technology supplied by Shopify.

Shopify provides the digital commerce platform that enables us to display products, operate checkout, and manage online transactions. However, any purchase made through this store is a transaction directly between you and Teknion LLC.

Shopify is not the seller of our furniture and is not responsible for product descriptions, order fulfillment, delivery, returns, customer support, or product performance, except where Shopify separately provides a service directly to you.

3. Customer Accounts and Information

Certain website features may require you to create an account or provide contact, billing, payment, and delivery information.

You agree to:

• Submit information that is accurate and complete
• Keep your contact and account details current
• Protect your login credentials from unauthorized access
• Accept responsibility for activity performed through your account
• Notify us if you believe your account has been compromised

Accounts may not be sold, transferred, licensed, or assigned to another person without our written permission.

4. Furniture Descriptions and Images

We make reasonable efforts to present our furniture accurately. Nevertheless, online images and descriptions cannot reproduce every physical detail.

Please consider the following before purchasing:

• Screen settings may affect how colors and finishes appear
• Dimensions may be subject to reasonable manufacturing tolerances
• Wood grain, stone patterns, fabric texture, and other natural characteristics may vary
• Colors may differ slightly between production batches
• Decorative accessories shown in lifestyle photographs may not be included
• Product packaging, hardware, or minor design details may be updated

Natural material variations are not necessarily manufacturing defects.

Customers are responsible for reviewing product measurements and confirming that the furniture is suitable for the intended room, doorway, hallway, elevator, staircase, and installation location.

5. Availability and Product Changes

Furniture availability is not guaranteed until an order has been accepted.

We may, where legally permitted:

• Update product specifications or descriptions
• Introduce revised product versions
• Limit purchase quantities
• Restrict delivery to certain locations
• Discontinue a product
• Correct inaccurate availability information

We will not substitute a materially different product without obtaining your agreement.

6. Assembly and Safe Use

Some furniture may require assembly, installation, adjustment, or wall anchoring. Unless an assembly service is expressly included in the product listing, the customer is responsible for arranging proper assembly.

Customers must:

• Follow all supplied instructions and safety warnings
• Use the correct hardware and tools
• Confirm that components are secure before use
• Observe stated weight and usage limits
• Use appropriate wall anchors where required
• Stop using furniture that appears unstable or damaged

When professional installation is recommended, the work should be completed by a suitably qualified person.

Teknion LLC is not responsible for damage resulting from misuse, unauthorized alteration, incorrect assembly, unsuitable installation, or failure to follow safety instructions, except where liability cannot legally be excluded.

This section does not limit your rights when the product or its instructions are defective.

7. Placing and Accepting Orders

Submitting an order constitutes an offer to purchase the selected products.

An automated order acknowledgment confirms that we received your request, but it does not necessarily mean that the order has been accepted. Acceptance normally occurs after payment authorization and order confirmation or dispatch.

We may reject or cancel an order when:

• A product is unavailable
• Pricing or listing information contains a material error
• Payment cannot be authorized
• The delivery address is incomplete or unsupported
• Fraud or unauthorized activity is reasonably suspected
• The order violates purchase restrictions or applicable law

If we cancel an order after receiving payment, the affected amount will be returned through the original payment method.

Unless a trade or commercial arrangement has been approved by us, products may not be purchased for unauthorized resale.

8. Order Changes and Cancellations

Please check the products, quantities, billing details, and shipping address before completing checkout.

Requests to change or cancel an order should be emailed to service@bkqyg.com within the period stated in our Shipping Policy.

We will make reasonable efforts to assist, but a modification or cancellation cannot be guaranteed after fulfillment preparation has begun.

9. Pricing, Taxes, and Payment

Unless another currency is clearly shown during checkout, transactions are processed in United States Dollars (USD).

Product prices may exclude:

• Shipping charges
• Sales or similar taxes
• Customs duties
• Import taxes
• Brokerage or local handling fees

The total charged by our store will be displayed before payment is submitted. Currency conversion fees or international card charges imposed by a bank or payment provider remain the customer’s responsibility.

Prices and promotions may change without advance notice. A new price does not retroactively apply to an order that has already been accepted unless required by law.

Customers must be authorized to use the selected payment method and must provide accurate billing information.

10. Promotions and Discount Offers

Discount codes, promotional prices, bundles, and limited-time offers may have separate eligibility conditions.

Unless the promotion states otherwise:

• Offers cannot be combined
• Discounts have no cash value
• Offers may be limited by product, region, quantity, or date
• A discount cannot be added after an order has been completed
• Promotions may end when allocated inventory is exhausted

If promotional conditions conflict with these Terms, the specific promotional conditions will apply to that offer.

11. Shipping and Delivery

Order preparation, shipping charges, tracking, and estimated transit times are governed by our Shipping Policy.

All delivery dates are estimates. Delays may occur because of carrier operations, weather, customs inspections, public holidays, remote locations, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Products within the same order may be delivered separately.

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accessible delivery address. Risk of loss transfers only at the time permitted under applicable law. Nothing in these Terms reduces the protections provided in our Shipping Policy for packages confirmed lost or damaged in transit.

12. Returns, Exchanges, and Refunds

All return and refund requests are governed by our Returns & Refunds Policy.

Furniture must not be sent back before receiving return authorization and shipping instructions. Unauthorized shipments may be refused.

Any mandatory cancellation, warranty, or consumer protection rights available under applicable law remain unaffected.

13. Ownership of Website Materials

Unless otherwise indicated, the website and its contents—including photographs, videos, text, product descriptions, graphics, layouts, logos, icons, and design elements—belong to Teknion LLC or are used under license.

You receive a limited, revocable right to access the website for personal and noncommercial shopping purposes.

Without prior written permission, you may not:

• Copy or republish website content
• Modify or create derivative versions of our materials
• Use product photographs for another business
• Sell, license, or commercially exploit our content
• Remove copyright or ownership notices
• Use our trademarks, logos, or branding
• Download or build a database from our product information

No ownership interest is transferred to you through your use of the website.

14. Acceptable Website Use

You must not use the website to:

• Commit fraud or engage in illegal activity
• Submit false, misleading, or impersonated information
• Violate intellectual property or privacy rights
• Introduce malware, viruses, or harmful code
• Attempt unauthorized access to accounts or systems
• Circumvent security or checkout controls
• Scrape, crawl, or extract data through unauthorized automated methods
• Disrupt the operation of the website
• Send spam or unsolicited promotional messages
• Harass, threaten, or abuse another person
• Interfere with another customer’s use of the store

We may restrict or terminate access when we reasonably believe these requirements have been violated.

15. Reviews and Customer Submissions

If you submit a review, photograph, comment, suggestion, or other content, you confirm that:

• You created it or have permission to submit it

• Any incentive or compensation has been disclosed
• It does not violate another person’s rights
• It does not contain unlawful, abusive, defamatory, or harmful material
• It does not contain malicious software

You grant Teknion LLC a nonexclusive, worldwide, transferable, sublicensable, royalty-free license to store, reproduce, edit, publish, translate, display, and use the submitted material for operating, improving, and promoting our business.

We may moderate or remove submissions but are not obligated to publish, retain, compensate, or respond to them.

16. Third-Party Services and Links

The website may contain links, applications, payment services, tracking tools, or other functionality supplied by third parties.

We do not control every third-party service and do not guarantee its continued availability, accuracy, security, or performance.

Your interaction with a third-party provider may be governed by that provider’s own terms and privacy practices. Review those policies before submitting information or completing a transaction.

A link does not automatically mean that Teknion LLC endorses the external provider or its content.

17. Privacy and Data Processing

Personal information collected through the store is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.

Because our store uses Shopify, certain information may be transmitted to and processed by Shopify and other service providers involved in hosting, payment processing, fraud prevention, analytics, fulfillment, or customer support.

Shopify’s handling of consumer information is described separately in its Consumer Privacy Policy.

18. Errors and Corrections

The website may occasionally contain incorrect information relating to measurements, product details, inventory, pricing, discounts, shipping charges, or delivery estimates.

We may correct or update inaccurate information when discovered. If a significant error affects an order you have already submitted, we may contact you for instructions or cancel the affected order and issue an appropriate refund.

19. Website Availability

We do not guarantee that every feature will remain continuously available or error-free.

We may temporarily suspend, update, replace, or remove website features for maintenance, security, technical, operational, or legal reasons.

New features introduced through the store will also be governed by these Terms unless separate conditions are provided.

20. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the website and online services are provided on an “as available” basis.

We do not guarantee that:

• Website access will always be uninterrupted
• Every technical issue will be corrected immediately
• Digital content will be free from all harmful components
• General website information will be suitable for every individual purpose

Products remain subject to any express warranty stated in the product listing and to all statutory warranties or consumer guarantees that cannot legally be excluded.

Nothing in these Terms removes rights that applicable law requires us to provide.

21. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Teknion LLC and its officers, employees, contractors, affiliates, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential losses resulting from the use of the website or products.

This may include lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, loss of business opportunity, or similar economic losses.

Where liability may legally be limited, our total liability relating to a claim will not exceed the amount paid for the product or service giving rise to that claim.

These limitations do not apply where liability cannot legally be restricted, including liability arising from fraud, intentional misconduct, or certain personal injury, product safety, and mandatory consumer protection claims.

22. Customer Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to reimburse and protect Teknion LLC and its service providers from third-party claims arising directly from:

• Your unlawful use of the website
• Your material breach of these Terms
• Content you submit that infringes another person’s rights
• Fraudulent or malicious activity performed through your account

This section does not apply to claims caused by our own product defect, negligence, or unlawful conduct.

23. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the website when reasonably necessary to address:

• A serious or repeated breach of these Terms
• Suspected fraud
• Security threats
• Illegal conduct
• Harm to customers, the business, or service providers
• Compliance with a legal requirement

Termination does not cancel payment or other obligations that arose before the termination date.

Provisions relating to intellectual property, submitted content, liability, indemnification, governing law, and other terms intended to survive will remain effective.

24. Events Beyond Reasonable Control

We are not responsible for failure or delay caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including severe weather, natural disasters, transportation interruptions, labor disputes, telecommunications failures, government action, war, civil disturbance, or supplier disruption.

We will make reasonable efforts to reduce the impact of such events. This provision does not remove refund, delivery, or consumer rights that cannot legally be waived.

25. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Where legally permitted, disputes relating to these Terms or the website will be brought before the appropriate state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California.

Before beginning formal proceedings, you are encouraged to contact us so that we can attempt to resolve the issue directly.

If you are a consumer living outside California, this section does not deprive you of mandatory protections or court access rights provided by the laws of your place of residence.

26. General Legal Provisions

If any provision is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect.

A failure to enforce a provision on one occasion does not waive the right to enforce it later.

These Terms and the policies referenced within them constitute the complete agreement concerning use of the store and replace earlier versions addressing the same subject.

You may not transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without written approval. We may transfer our rights and obligations as part of a merger, restructuring, sale, or transfer of business, subject to applicable law.

Section titles are included for convenience and do not change the meaning of the provisions.

27. Updates to These Terms

We may revise these Terms to reflect changes in our business, website features, legal obligations, or operating practices.

The latest version will be published on this page with an updated effective date. Material changes will be communicated when required by law.

Revisions generally apply from their stated effective date and do not retroactively change an accepted order unless required by law or agreed with the customer.
